In the photo below, Joanne Ross, Dr. Proctor & Jennifer Godfrey on the Barkers trail, 4 July 2002 – looking for Iva imbricata Family: ASTERACEAE, US common name: Seacoast Marsh Elder – a plant that Dr. Proctor had found there 10 years ago! He did find a patch of it, but much of the beach had been taken over with the invasive Scaevola sericea.
